The Design Imperative is a Charlotte-based design studio focused on the intersection of multifamily residential design and small-scale real estate development. The firm provides concept through design development (DD) services for both internal and select external projects, with the long-term goal of operating as a design developer that delivers beautiful, infill residential housing in North Carolina and beyond.
